Puzzle Piece Replacement Policy

Does your OddGoods jigsaw puzzle have a hole in it? My puzzle piece replacement policy is pretty simple: I'll make it right, period.

Please email me a photograph of your almost-completed puzzle that is clear enough for me to identify which piece(s) need to be replaced. Unless I have questions, I will mail you the exact piece(s) that you need to complete your puzzle free of charge within a few business days of receiving your email.

Please Note: My PPRP is currently available for my second collection of puzzles (the color ones). I will be including my first collection as soon as humanly possible.

If, for some reason, I can't solve your problem:

1. I can offer you a store credit.
2. Or, you might consider using the Puzzle Doctor.

I always include a minimum of one half inch (.5") to one inch (1") white border around all of my prints for one very simple reason: It makes it easier to handle the print without having to worry about damaging the image.

Giclée prints, in particular, are very delicate and I don't want you to damage your new print with a misplaced thumb.

Giclée is a French term for “to spray” or “to squirt" and it describes the process by which an inkjet printer applies ink to a substrate (paper, canvas, etc.)

Generally speaking, giclée prints are high resolution images printed with high-end inkjet printers on archival (museum quality) art papers using archival pigment-based inks. The high quality and long lifespans of giclées ensure that the prints retain or increase in value (which is why you should help me get famous!).

An "Open" edition print can be printed over and over again and may or may not include a signature.

A "Limited" edition means that a fixed number of prints or impressions are produced for a particular design, which makes the print more scarce, valuable and collectable. Limited edition prints are always signed and numbered.

It depends entirely on the size of the original artwork and how the piece you would like was created. If I can adapt my original illustration to fit your requested dimensions, I would be more than happy to have a custom print made with my artwork for you. Please contact me to inquire with a description of what you'd like to do and I'll respond as soon as I can to discuss your request.

Please be aware that custom requests will require additional processing time to create, produce, and package the print along with a higher price tag.

You can always purchase a frame and do it yourself. I've included a sturdy backing board in the packaging you can use (trim, if needed) to mount the image in a frame. I would suggest watching a couple DIY videos to help you with the process.

However, I always default to supporting small businesses. Your local frame shop will be more than happy to lend a professional hand helping you select archival mats, a quality frame, and UV resistant, anti-glare glass. Getting your new print framed isn't cheap, but it really makes a difference on your wall (and for your peace of mind.)

All of my prints are packaged in an acid free cellophane pouch with a 4-ply pH neutral, 100% recycled fiber backing board for protection.

I recommend color pencils, crayons, pastels, washable markers, coloring pens, ball-point pens, drawing pens, brush pens, technical pencils, artists pencils, or even a #2 pencil. Experiment and find what works for you. The paper quality is fantastic.

I do NOT recommend using permanent (alcohol-based) markers or paints without putting a backing behind the poster to protect against bleed through.

The coloring posters are printed on premium, archival 100lb text weight paper.

Generally speaking, all markers will bleed to one degree or another. Permanent markers, which are alcohol-based, are prone to bleeding because the alcohol moistens the contact point and surroundings a bit allowing the ink to spread more easily. I've tested this paper myself with some heavy-duty permanent markers and found the bleed through performance to be exceptional. But, yes, it's possible you may use a brand of markers more potent than mine.

Here's what I found:

• Water-based markers—like your typical Crayola style markers didn't bleed through at all.
• Alcohol-based (permanent) markers—like Chartpack professional design markers showed minimal to moderate bleed through.
• Sharpie (alcohol-based)—Did not bleed through.

Tip 1: Don't over-work the paper. Be aware that the more vigorously you "work" an area with a marker, the more likely the paper will become saturated, and pigment will bleed through the paper—Paper can only absorb so much liquid.

Tip 2: Prevent accidents and protect surfaces (tables, floors, walls) by placing cardboard or another piece of paper behind the posters while you are working on them. And please, do not color on top of fabric or any porous surfaces you can't throw in the wash.

With the biggest nails you can find. I'm joking.

Painter's Tape, 3M Poster Strips, or push pins will do the job.

You can remove or minimize creases in a poster with an iron and a little care.

IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to remove creases after you have colored the poster—This process MUST be done before you color the poster.

1. Unfold the poster and place it on a clean, flat, hard surface.
   TIP: Avoid wood—You could damage the finish.
2. Place a clean piece of (thick) paper, paper towel, or sheet over the poster to prevent the heat from the iron from being directly placed on the paper.
   TIP: Always spot test.
3. Use a low heat setting.
   TIP: Start with low heat and slowly increase to find what temperature is right for the paper to start seeing results.
4. Work methodically and slowly.

FOR PUZZLES ONLY—I offer a Flat Rate shipping option that saves you a minimum of 25% off Priority Mail rates for orders under $65. Please understand that this 25% discount comes out of my pocket—The only means I have to reduce shipping costs is to pay a portion of your bill for you.

**The best way you can support me is by paying for your shipping. Select Priority Mail at checkout—This is the actual rate that I pay to ship your puzzle(s) to you. Note: Local customers may get cheaper rates with this option.

Because there is no such thing as "free" shipping. Someone always pays, usually the small business owner.

There are no two ways about it, shipping is expensive—especially if packaging falls outside of "standard" dimensions. I pay for access to the lowest group rates available for small businesses in an effort to pass along what savings I can to my customers at checkout and, trust me, the so-called discounts small businesses have access to are bloody laughable.

For Example:

The average 1000 piece puzzle weighs 1lb 11oz (1.75lbs). The standard USPS rate to ship that puzzle from coast to coast is $15.20. With my meager discounts, I can ship a puzzle to you for an average of $13.25, unless it's to a weird location like New Orleans—I have no earthly idea why, but it costs $3 more to ship to New Orleans. It just does.

• Puzzles are packed with love, blessed by an urban fairy, and shipped in a sturdy corrugated box.
• Stickers are shipped in a 8x6 rigid flat mailer for strong-like-bull protection.
• Fabric products will arrive in a non-amorous poly bag or box.
